About this role
AdventHealth Redmond is hiring a contract night-shift Emergency Department RN in Rome, Georgia, at $56/hr plus shift differential for 36 hours per week.
### What you'll do
- Perform thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and protocol adherence.
- Document patient health data, interventions, and handoff communications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, and care plans based on assessed learning needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to support timely patient admission, discharge, and transfer.
- Follow CDC isolation guidelines, PPE standards, and hand hygiene policies to maintain a safe care environment.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (or compact eligibility).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- BLS/CPR certification required; TNCC preferred.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills applicable to emergency patient populations.
- Basic computer proficiency with Windows-based programs; fluency in written and spoken English.
