About this role
AdventHealth Carrollwood is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Recovery unit at its Tampa, Florida campus on North Dale Mabry Highway.
### What you'll do
- Perform pre-admission testing for outpatients undergoing Cath Lab, EP Lab, and non-invasive cardiac procedures
- Provide pre- and post-procedural care for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular patients across all demographics
- Monitor patients following moderate sedation administered by the Anesthesia team
- Assess hemodynamic status and intervene appropriately after cardiac procedures, including sheath pulls and hematoma management
- Coordinate with lab supervisors and staff to maintain efficient workflow and quality patient care
- Assist with orientation and training of new personnel once independently proficient
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license with current BLS and ACLS certification (required)
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- Strong patient assessment skills and ability to operate all post-cardiac recovery unit equipment
- Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring software and Windows-based systems
- 2+ years of acute care or post-cardiac recovery nursing experience (preferred)
- EKG competency, cardiac anatomy knowledge, and advanced telemetry skills (preferred); RCES certification a plus

AdventHealth Carrollwood is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with facilities across the United States. The Carrollwood campus serves the Tampa community with a full spectrum of cardiac services, including invasive and non-invasive cardiology programs. The unit operates Monday–Friday on day shifts, supporting a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.
