A Nuclear Medicine Technologist I role at AdventHealth Kissimmee, located in Kissimmee, Florida, performing diagnostic imaging procedures on a Monday–Friday day shift.
### What you'll do
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, demonstrating proficiency in camera acquisition and computer processing
- Prepare and aseptically administer radionuclides to patients using universal BSI principles, explaining procedures beforehand
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care
- Confirm patient and exam accuracy before releasing images for interpretation, correcting erroneous accession numbers as needed
- Conduct and document quality control requirements, radionuclide administration data, and exam charges in the Nuclear Medicine Information System
- Maintain room readiness, monitor equipment functionality, and initiate work order requests for malfunctioning equipment
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) OR Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) credential — required
- Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) licensure — required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree — preferred
- Ability to evaluate image quality for technical and diagnostic detail
- Willingness to support coworker and student development in nuclear medicine competency
