About this role
AdventHealth Poinciana ER is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department in Kissimmee, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care across the ED.
- Perform EKG interpretation and apply advanced life support skills as required by unit protocols.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred.
- 2+ years of recent RN experience in an emergency department setting (preferred).
- EKG competency preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and team-based communication skills.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hr (approximately $65,582–$108,659 annualized).
