About this role
AdventHealth Heart of Florida is hiring a full-time Clinical Cardiovascular Educator at its Davenport, Florida campus to lead nursing professional development initiatives across the cardiovascular service line.
### What you'll do
- Design, implement, and evaluate continuing education programs that address practice gaps and advance clinical competency for cardiovascular nursing staff.
- Support evidence-based practice, quality improvement (PDSA methodology), and nursing research initiatives as a subject-matter resource.
- Develop and sustain a preceptor program, including unit-level support for preceptors and promotion of professional certification and advanced education.
- Collaborate with academic partners to coordinate student placements and foster a positive clinical learning environment.
- Facilitate interprofessional communication and partnership across education and clinical practice settings to drive meaningful change.
- Disseminate evidence-based findings through educational programs, in-service training, and other developmental activities aligned with organizational goals.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida — required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing — required; higher-level nursing degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical or nursing education experience — required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — required.
- Knowledge of ANA/ANPD scope and standards for Nursing Professional Development — required.
- Nursing Professional Development Board Certification (NPD-BC) — preferred.
