About this role
AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its Med/Surg Telemetry unit on day shift in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and communicate clinical findings effectively.
- Apply organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage a telemetry patient population safely across a full day shift.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to function as a team player.
