About this role

AdventHealth North Pinellas is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician for its Med/Surg Telemetry unit on day shift in Tarpon Springs, Florida. ### What you'll do - Deliver direct bedside patient care appropriate to each patient's age, mobility, acuity, and cultural background. - Perform treatments and clinical procedures in accordance with facility policy and procedure. - Respond appropriately during clinical emergencies, supporting the nursing team on the unit. - Follow infection-control and isolation guidelines, use personal protective equipment correctly, and adhere to hand-hygiene policy. - Participate in performance-improvement activities and support unit quality standards and initiatives. - Maintain and continuously upgrade clinical skills through ongoing learning. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent (required). - Active CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) OR CPCT/A (Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant) credential (required). - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required). - One or more years of PCT or equivalent patient-care experience (preferred). - Prior bedside care in an acute-care unit, monitor technician, or unit-secretary role (preferred). ### What's included - Pay range: $15.87–$25.38/hour (~$33,010–$52,790 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career-development and continuing-education support. - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth North Pinellas is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network committed to whole-person care.
