About this role

AdventHealth Palm Coast is hiring a full-time Certified Surgical Technologist at its Palm Coast, Florida facility. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure - Assemble all required supplies, equipment, and medications prior to each case - Monitor aseptic technique for the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks - Assist with safe and efficient operating room turnover and direct ancillary personnel during room changeover - Promote a safe environment and respond appropriately in emergency situations to protect patients, visitors, and staff - Support performance improvement initiatives and uphold departmental quality standards ### What we're looking for - Active CST credential (State of Florida CST, NBSTSA CST, or NCCT TS-C) — required - BLS/CPR certification — required - High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate degree or technical/vocational training preferred - 1+ years of relevant surgical tech experience preferred; 2+ years of technical field experience preferred - Strong knowledge of sterile/aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation - Currently enrolled in or graduate of an accredited surgical technology program ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $21.56–$40.09 ($44,845–$83,387 annualized) - $15,000 sign-on bonus (eligibility requirements apply) - $3,000 relocation assistance (eligibility requirements apply) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks fully paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan ### About the practice AdventHealth Palm Coast is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
