RN Emergency Department PRN Nights at Palm Harbor OSED

AdventHealth is hiring a PRN night-shift Emergency Department RN at its Palm Harbor facility in Palm Harbor, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders, maintaining patient safety and protocol adherence. - Monitor patient responses to interventions and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Perform accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Cerner/EPIC). - Interpret EKGs and apply critical thinking skills appropriate to the emergency patient population. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida. - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Current BLS/CPR certification (required). - 1+ year of experience in a specialty nursing area (preferred). - EKG knowledge and interpretation skills aligned with the emergency patient population. - Proficiency with electronic medical records; Cerner or EPIC experience preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range of $31.53–$52.24 (annualized approximately $65,582–$108,659 at full-time equivalent). - PRN/per-diem scheduling flexibility on night shifts. - Mission-driven work environment with opportunities for professional and personal growth. ### About the practice AdventHealth Palm Harbor operates an Emergency Department at 34106 US Highway 19 N, Palm Harbor, FL 34684, serving the north Pinellas County community.
