About this role

AdventHealth South Orlando is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the Neuromedical Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on night shift in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform and oversee venous access procedures and infusion therapy, adjusting care plans based on patient responses. - Monitor nursing staff performance, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards. - Lead unit-level quality improvement initiatives by analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance patient outcomes. - Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training, feedback, and structured professional development. - Resolve staff conflicts promptly using mediation techniques to sustain a cohesive team environment. - Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting body, and hospital policies across all unit operations. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure — required. - BLS and ACLS certification — required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing — required; Bachelor's Degree — preferred. - Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience — preferred. - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant leadership experience — preferred. - Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) or Stroke Education certification — preferred. ### What's included - Compensation range: $33.99–$63.22/hr ($70,699–$131,498 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one plus 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being programs. ### About the practice AdventHealth South Orlando is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network operating across multiple states.
