Certified Medical Assistant Urology Hendersonville

A Certified Medical Assistant is needed at AdventHealth's Asheville Urological Associates clinic in Hendersonville, North Carolina. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, health history, screenings, and medication reconciliation for urology patients - Assist providers with minor urology procedures and ensure accurate same-day documentation in the EHR - Administer medications, initiate diagnostic testing, and document results per clinic protocols - Educate patients on tests, medications, and dietary instructions in clear, accurate terms - Monitor and manage clinical inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and properly functioning equipment - Travel as needed to support staffing across clinic locations and maintain full OSHA and organizational compliance ### What we're looking for - Active certification as CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assistant experience (preferred) - Proficiency with medical terminology, chronic disease management concepts, and EHR/computer systems - Ability to work independently within certification scope in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hr (~$34,154–$54,642 annually) - Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 - Relocation assistance up to $5,000 - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one; 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - 403(b) retirement plan; career development and well-being resources ### About the practice AdventHealth's Asheville Urological Associates operates out of Hendersonville, NC, providing specialty urology care on a Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule.
