About this role

A full-time day-shift Registered Nurse position on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Neurosurgical floor at AdventHealth South Orlando in Orlando, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual factors - Develop, implement, and continuously revise individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care - Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication - Respond promptly to code situations, providing interventions to stabilize patients ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required - Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) — required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) — preferred - Current BLS/CPR certification — required - Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience — preferred - EKG interpretation skills per unit requirements - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and critical-thinking abilities ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME and career development resources ### About the practice AdventHealth South Orlando, located at 601 E Rollins St, Orlando, FL 32803, is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
