About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Float Pool on the night shift at its Denver, Colorado campus. ### What you'll do - Lead float pool nursing staff in the delivery of patient care across assigned units on the night shift. - Perform venous access procedures and administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments within RN scope of practice. - Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and address complications related to venous access and infusion therapy. - Drive performance improvement initiatives and manage unit operations, including productivity and financial practices. - Mentor staff on clinical best practices and technology, including the Electronic Health Record. - Serve as a professional role model and provide effective employee counseling and development support. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. - Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience. - 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. - Strong critical thinking, written and verbal communication, and EHR proficiency. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $38.54–$71.69 (approximately $80,163–$149,115 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one and 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support, including mental health resources. - Pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is a faith-based hospital located in Denver, Colorado, part of the AdventHealth system, a nationally recognized non-profit health network.
