About this role
AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Assistant Nurse Manager for the Float Pool on the night shift at its Denver, Colorado campus.
### What you'll do
- Lead float pool nursing staff in the delivery of patient care across assigned units on the night shift.
- Perform venous access procedures and administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments within RN scope of practice.
- Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and address complications related to venous access and infusion therapy.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives and manage unit operations, including productivity and financial practices.
- Mentor staff on clinical best practices and technology, including the Electronic Health Record.
- Serve as a professional role model and provide effective employee counseling and development support.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience.
- 1+ year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, written and verbal communication, and EHR proficiency.
