AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for its 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, therapy teams, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
- Current Florida or Multistate Registered Nurse licensure.
- Minimum six months of prior RN experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $31.53–$52.24 (annualized $65,582–$108,659 at 2,080 hours).
- PRN schedule with day shift availability.
- Dedicated on-unit Nursing Practice Development Practitioner for ongoing education and mentoring.

AdventHealth Altamonte Springs operates a 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit serving patients with complex medical needs requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The unit runs a 5–6 patient ratio supported by RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Nurse Techs. The team prioritizes collaborative, patient-centered care with strong interdisciplinary partnerships.
