AdventHealth Altamonte Springs is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its 45-bed Adult Medical Telemetry unit in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments covering physiological, psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle dimensions.
- Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Continuously interpret telemetry data and apply clinical judgment to patients with complex cardiac monitoring needs.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support recovery and compliance.
- Document all care activities, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher.
- Current Florida or Multistate Registered Nurse licensure.
- Minimum six (6) months of RN experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) with weekend rotation.
