Critical Care RN

AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring a full-time Critical Care RN for its inpatient critical care unit in Lake Wales, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses - Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes - Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established critical care protocols and advanced clinical skills - Document all patient care activities — assessments, interventions, and outcomes — accurately in the electronic medical record - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care - Supervise and mentor nursing staff while participating in unit-level quality improvement initiatives ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Current BLS/CPR certification - EKG knowledge appropriate to the critical care patient population - Critical thinking and abstract reasoning skills to evaluate interventions and revise care plans - Experience in a specialty or critical care setting (preferred); Cerner or EPIC EMR experience a plus ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$50.40/hr ($65,582–$104,832 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Lake Wales is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states.
