AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring a full-time Critical Care RN for its inpatient unit in Lake Wales, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately; monitor patient responses and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established protocols and critical care skills.
- Document all care activities — assessments, interventions, and outcomes — accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required; current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Critical care clinical skills appropriate to the unit's patient population.
- EKG knowledge and ability to interpret rhythm strips as required by unit standards.
- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and abstract reasoning skills for complex patient management.
- Experience with Cerner or EPIC EMR preferred; specialty certifications (CCNS, TNCC, CEN, FCCS) a plus.

- Pay range: $31.53–$50.40/hr ($65,582–$104,832 annualized).
