About this role
A Clinical Pharmacist specializing in Cardiology joins AdventHealth at their Hendersonville, NC campus (50 Hospital Drive), supporting inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services on a Monday–Friday day shift.
### What you'll do
- Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems, including pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments
- Provide direct patient care through interdisciplinary rounds and ensure smooth care transitions from admission through discharge
- Perform clinical consultations in glycemic management, anticoagulation, and pharmacokinetics
- Dispense, compound, verify, and document medications across central, satellite, and IV areas
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents
- Participate in quality improvement, medication safety reporting, and regulatory compliance initiatives
### What we're looking for
- Active Licensed Pharmacist (RPh) — required
- Bachelor's in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D. preferred
- 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred
- ASHP Board Certification preferred
- Proficiency with EHR systems, clinical decision support tools, and pharmacy automation
