About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist at its Denver, Colorado hospital campus on South Downing Street. ### What you'll do - Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using evidence-based techniques and established standards of practice. - Develop, implement, and adapt individualized treatment plans including goal setting, treatment activities, and visit frequency. - Document patient care accurately and timely using measurable, objective terminology in the EMR. - Provide patient and caregiver education, including discharge planning recommendations. - Supervise certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation therapy aides in accordance with state regulations and practice standards. - Support community health initiatives through participation in educational lectures and community outreach events. ### What we're looking for - Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license (OT) or Occupational Therapist – Temporary license required. - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy preferred; education must meet licensing body standards. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and electronic medical records systems. - Strong written and verbal communication skills across interdisciplinary teams. - Willingness to adjust work hours to meet patient care needs. ### What's included - Pay range: $35.78 – $66.55/hour (approximately $74,422 – $138,424 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off starting Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission centered on whole-person care — body, mind, and spirit.
