Certified Medical Assistant- Family Medicine

AdventHealth is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Family Medicine clinic in Cedartown, Georgia. ### What you'll do - Perform clinical intake including vital signs, history taking, screenings, and medication reconciliation - Provide patient care during office visits covering labs, medication administration, test results, and closure of care gaps - Assist with minor procedures and ensure accurate documentation at the time of service - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment and initiate testing to support efficient clinic flow - Educate patients on tests, medications, and diet with clear, accurate instructions - Monitor and manage inventory of supplies and medical equipment to maintain readiness ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred) - Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient environment ### What's included - Pay range: $16.36–$26.17/hr (~$34,029–$54,434 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Redmond Family Medicine in Cedartown, Georgia is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
