About this role
An Outpatient Ortho Occupational Therapist at AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab serves patients recovering from orthopedic and sports-related conditions at the Lake Mary, Florida clinic.
### What you'll do
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations using established occupational therapy techniques and standards.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with best-practice standards, insurance guidelines, and patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust plans of care accordingly, educating patients and families on expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and objective clinical documentation per department, hospital, and insurance standards.
- Oversee care delivered by certified occupational therapy assistants and rehabilitation aides per regulatory and practice standards.
### What we're looking for
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist (OT) license or Temporary OT license (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification (required).
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred).
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential (preferred).
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing clinical competency development.
- Ability to serve as a clinical instructor and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

- Salary range: $65,623–$122,055 per year.
