About this role
A full-time night-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the Med-Surg Medical unit at AdventHealth Carrollwood in Tampa, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient.
- Develop, implement, and regularly revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care, ensuring clear communication and teamwork.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
- EKG competency per unit-specific requirements.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and abstract reasoning skills to assess patients and revise care plans.

- Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized).
