Registered Nurse RN Float Pool ICU Nights

AdventHealth Tampa is hiring a full-time Float Pool ICU Registered Nurse for night shifts at its Tampa, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Float across critical care units, providing direct patient care on night shifts - Collect comprehensive patient assessment data and contribute to unit-specific process improvement initiatives - Develop, individualize, and prioritize each patient's plan of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team - Implement nursing interventions and carry out physician orders accurately and in a timely manner - Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers in accordance with hospital policy - Apply critical thinking to evaluate safety, effectiveness, and cost considerations in nursing service delivery ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) licensure - Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred) - Minimum 1 year of recent, relevant nursing experience - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required - Strong clinical and critical thinking skills with proficient communication - 2+ years of critical care experience preferred; prior EKG interpretation training a plus ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $32.76–$57.47 (approximately $68,141–$119,538 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off beginning day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Career development programs and mental health support resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Tampa is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
