About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Radiology Technician at its Crown Crest facility in Parker, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic imaging exams across all departments, including OR and Fluoroscopy, using established protocols
- Position patients and select technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist standards safely and efficiently
- Monitor patient condition, ensure comfort and privacy, obtain patient history, and explain procedures prior to exams
- Screen patients for contrast allergies and childbearing status, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and staff
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including scanners, injectors, and fluoroscopic units; keep rooms stocked and organized
- Complete required documentation, support Radiologist workflow, and perform clerical duties including scheduling and patient records
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT RT(R) registration (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience
- Proficiency with radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment operation and patient positioning
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical staff
