About this role

AdventHealth Parker is hiring a part-time Certified Surgical Technologist for day-shift OR coverage at its surgical facility in Parker, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Anticipate surgeon needs and keep the circulating nurse informed throughout each procedure. - Assemble all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure to support cost containment. - Monitor aseptic technique of the entire surgical team and take immediate corrective action for any breaks. - Supervise and assist in the orientation and training of new OR personnel. - Promote a safe environment and respond appropriately in emergency situations, including following CDC isolation guidelines and infection control practices. - Maintain positive working relationships with surgeons, management, and interdepartmental staff. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program required. - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Technician in Surgery – Certified (NTSC) credential required. - BLS certification required. - Minimum 1 year of CST experience required; 2+ years preferred. - Proficiency in sterile/aseptic technique and knowledge of surgical instrumentation and human anatomy. - Ability to interpret surgeon-dictated instructions and work effectively within a multidisciplinary OR team. ### What's included - $10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. - Pay range: $24.45–$45.46/hour (~$50,856–$94,557 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Pet benefits and whole-person well-being and mental health resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Parker is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
