About the Community

Oklahoma City is one of the most affordable major metros in the United States, offering low cost of living, no state income tax on many income categories, and a rapidly growing urban core with a vibrant restaurant, arts, and entertainment scene anchored by the Bricktown and Midtown districts. The city sits at the crossroads of the southern plains with easy access to Lake Hefner, the Wichita Mountains, and a wide range of outdoor recreation, while top-rated suburban school districts in Edmond, Yukon, and Moore make it a strong choice for families. Oklahoma City's combination of big-city amenities and small-city pace is a consistent draw for physicians relocating from higher cost-of-living markets.
