About this role
AdventHealth Hinsdale is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical unit on the day shift at its Hinsdale, Illinois campus.
### What you'll do
- Deliver direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical inpatient unit during day-shift hours.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans for assigned patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policy and scope of practice.
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record.
- Maintain a safe patient environment and respond to changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
### What we're looking for
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois, or eligibility to obtain.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN); BSN preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Medical-surgical or acute-care inpatient nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.
