Supervisor Respiratory Care

AdventHealth Daytona Beach is hiring a full-time Supervisor of Respiratory Care for night shift at its Memorial Medical Parkway campus in Daytona Beach, Florida. ### What you'll do - Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure efficient use of respiratory care resources across the department. - Serve as liaison between frontline staff and department leadership, escalating issues promptly and maintaining open communication. - Monitor staff clinical activities to verify services are delivered in accordance with department and facility policies. - Provide hands-on clinical support and maintain all required respiratory therapy competencies when needed. - Complete performance appraisals, counsel staff, and initiate progressive discipline as warranted. - Lead and participate in performance improvement initiatives and develop educational processes for the respiratory care team. ### What we're looking for - Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required); Bachelor's degree preferred. - State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required; NBRC-credentialed RRT preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Minimum 3 years of critical care respiratory therapy experience. - Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills, including use of respiratory therapy–driven protocols. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in high-acuity situations. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $31.55–$58.69 (annualized approximately $65,624–$122,075). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off beginning Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources, plus pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Daytona Beach is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based, nonprofit health network operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
