About this role

A full-time night-shift Registered Nurse is needed for the Adult Medical Telemetry unit at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs in Altamonte Springs, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies to support understanding and compliance. - Collaborate with physicians, case management, therapy teams, and ancillary departments to coordinate patient-centered care. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient information, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record. ### What we're looking for - Associate of Science degree in Nursing (ASN) or higher. - Current Florida or Multistate Registered Nurse licensure. - Minimum six (6) months of prior RN experience. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. ### What's included - Compensation: $31.53–$52.24/hr ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development resources and dedicated on-unit Nursing Practice Development Practitioner for ongoing education and mentorship. ### About the practice AdventHealth Altamonte Springs operates a 45-bed private Adult Medical Telemetry unit caring for complex patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, staffed at a 5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio with RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Nurse Techs. The unit runs three 12-hour night shifts (7 pm–7 am) with weekend rotation and emphasizes collaborative, team-oriented care delivery.
