About this role

A PRN Clinical Pharmacist role at AdventHealth Sebring, a faith-based health system, located in Sebring, Florida. ### What you'll do - Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems, including pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments. - Provide direct patient care and participate in interdisciplinary rounds, supporting transitions of care from admission through discharge. - Perform compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation across central, satellite, and IV pharmacy areas. - Educate and counsel patients, families, and healthcare team members on safe and effective medication use. - Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors. - Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Pharmacist (RPH) license required. - Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred. - 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred. - Proficiency with EHRs, pharmacy informatics systems, and medication automation. - Ability to participate in stewardship, restricted-use, and quality improvement programs. - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and clinical documentation skills. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $48.71–$90.60 (annualized approximately $101,315–$188,448 at full-time equivalent). - PRN scheduling with day shifts. - Access to AdventHealth's professional development and specialty alignment programs (e.g., critical care, oncology, infectious disease). ### About the practice AdventHealth Sebring is part of the AdventHealth system, a large faith-based, not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
