About this role
AdventHealth is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist at its Clermont Health Park facility in Clermont, Florida, working Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
### What you'll do
- Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards for all patient populations (infant through geriatric)
- Position patients and select appropriate technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and efficiently
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, applying ALARA radiation safety principles (time, distance, shielding) for patient and staff protection
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems with correct patient demographic and examination information
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and equipment has completed routine safety checks; notify appropriate personnel when inventory is low
- Cross-train into advanced imaging modalities as needed and support surgical and trauma imaging cases
### What we're looking for
- ARRT registration in Radiography (RT(R)) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of radiologic technology experience, or new graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Proficiency with PACS, Cerner, Radnet, or similar radiology software systems
- Strong patient care skills across all age groups and ability to work independently without constant technical supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
