About this role

AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a PRN Ultrasound Technologist II at its Celebration, Florida campus to perform diagnostic sonography studies in support of radiologist interpretation. ### What you'll do - Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per provider orders and established protocols across patient populations of all ages. - Acquire and analyze ultrasound images, waveforms, and diagnostic data, manipulating transducers and technical factors to optimize results. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR, PACS, and ultrasound technologist worksheet to support radiologist review and dictation. - Verify patient identity, review clinical history, and confirm exam appropriateness and potential contraindications prior to scanning. - Collaborate with radiologists and care team members to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care. - Sterilize transducers, maintain exam room readiness, perform routine equipment safety checks, and practice infection control standards with approved PPE. ### What we're looking for - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred. - Minimum 1 year of position-related sonography experience required. - ARDMS registry in Abdomen and OB/GYN required. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - Experience in specialized procedures such as Breast, Prostate, OR, Pediatric, Neuro, or Vascular sonography preferred. - Demonstrated ability to document clearly and concisely in EMR and PACS systems. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $28.68–$53.35 (annualized approximately $59,654–$110,968 at full-time equivalent). - PRN/as-needed scheduling with 24-hour shift availability. ### About the practice AdventHealth Celebration is a full-service hospital located in Celebration, Florida, part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest faith-based health networks in the United States.
