About this role

AdventHealth Porter is hiring a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit 2 in Denver, Colorado. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors for each patient. - Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans aligned with patient needs and standards of care. - Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies. - Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate care and maintain effective communication across the team. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required. - One or more years of experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. - Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills. - EKG competency per unit requirements; additional certifications (TNCC, CCNS, ONS) preferred. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $34.26–$59.24 (approximately $71,261–$123,219 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid Time Off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave. - Career development programs and whole-person well-being resources. ### About the practice AdventHealth Porter is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
