Certified Medical Assistant Ocala Heart Care

A Certified Medical Assistant joins AdventHealth's Ocala Heart Care clinic at 1219 S Pine Ave, Ocala, Florida, supporting outpatient cardiology operations Monday through Friday on a full-time day schedule. ### What you'll do - Prepare patients and equipment for treatment, initiate testing, and document results in the practice's designated system - Travel periodically to other AdventHealth clinic locations within Ocala to support staffing needs - Maintain OSHA regulatory compliance and follow all safety processes and office policies - Stay current on organizational policies, procedures, and annual clinical competency requirements - Advocate for patients and navigate complex care systems to facilitate efficient office flow - Apply sound judgment and professional demeanor in a fast-paced clinical environment ### What we're looking for - Active certification as a CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA (one required) - Current BLS/CPR certification - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of related medical assisting experience (preferred) - Working knowledge of medical terminology and chronic disease management - Proficiency with computers and electronic health record documentation ### What's included - Pay range: $17.11–$27.38/hr (~$35,589–$56,950 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Ocala Heart Care is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based nonprofit health system operating across multiple states with a mission centered on whole-person care.
