About this role

A PRN Clinical Pharmacist role at AdventHealth Waterman, a faith-based health system campus in Tavares, Florida. ### What you'll do - Review and monitor medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems, including pharmacokinetic dosing and adjustments - Provide direct patient care and participate in interdisciplinary rounds, supporting transitions of care from admission through discharge - Educate and counsel patients, families, and healthcare team members on safe and effective medication use - Perform compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation across central, satellite, and IV pharmacy areas - Identify, report, and help resolve medication safety events, adverse drug reactions, and errors - Contribute to quality improvement, regulatory compliance, stewardship programs, and accreditation activities ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Pharmacist (RPH) license required - Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred - 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred - Proficiency with electronic health records, pharmacy informatics systems, and medication automation - Strong organizational, interpersonal, and clinical communication skills - Ability to engage in specialty areas such as critical care, oncology, or infectious disease as applicable ### What's included - Pay range: $50.49–$93.91/hour (~$105,019–$195,333 annualized at 2,080 hours) - PRN schedule with 24-hour shift availability - AdventHealth system benefits eligibility per PRN status ### About the practice AdventHealth Waterman is a full-service community hospital located in Tavares, Florida, operating as part of the AdventHealth system — one of the largest not-for-profit faith-based health networks in the country.
