About this role
A contract PCU Registered Nurse (nights) is needed at Texas Health Huguley Medical Center in Burleson, Texas, part of the AdventHealth system.
### What you'll do
- Deliver coordinated, evidence-based nursing care to an assigned group of PCU patients on a 7 PM–7 AM night shift.
- Conduct thorough, ongoing patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care aligned with interdisciplinary goals.
- Implement plan-of-care interventions safely and document all actions taken in a timely manner.
- Supervise and direct assigned nursing personnel using professional judgment and discretion.
- Facilitate timely patient placement by following hospital policy for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Apply critical thinking skills appropriate to each patient's acuity and level of care.
### What we're looking for
- Active Texas RN license (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of PCU nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required.
- Current ACLS certification required.
- Proficiency in English (reading, verbal, and written) and basic Microsoft Windows computer navigation.
