About this role
AdventHealth Riverview is hiring a full-time CT Technologist for its imaging department in Riverview, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform high-quality CT examinations per provider orders and departmental protocols, optimizing image quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast material, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and confirm appropriate IV placement.
- Position patients accurately using immobilization devices while maintaining ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR and PACS systems.
- Operate all imaging equipment — including scanners, injectors, and monitors — adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
### What we're looking for
- Active ARRT Radiography credential R.T.(R)(ARRT) — required.
- BLS/CPR certification — required.
- ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) credential — preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of related CT or radiologic technology work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of CT procedures, scanners, radiation safety, and patient positioning across all age groups.
