About this role
AdventHealth Littleton is hiring a full-time CVICU Charge Nurse for night shifts at its hospital in Littleton, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Coordinate patient care across CVICU, PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and anesthesia departments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and physician orders.
- Monitor and document patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans based on outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
- Oversee daily unit staffing, scheduling, and equipment availability.
- Identify real and potential patient care issues and implement solutions with clear follow-through and communication.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado (required).
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Current BLS certification (required).
- Demonstrated supervision skills and experience in a charge or lead capacity.
- Strong abstract reasoning ability to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans.
