About this role
A Certified Medical Assistant specializing in Cardiology joins AdventHealth's outpatient cardiology clinic at 50 Hospital Drive in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
### What you'll do
- Monitor physician schedules and organize patient flow to ensure timely patient visits
- Serve as the primary point of contact for daily clinic operations, resolving issues or escalating as appropriate
- Obtain vital signs, collect specimens, and perform clinical support tasks in accordance with infection prevention guidelines
- Conduct training sessions and review patient care protocols with clinic staff
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and maintain best-practice standards of care
- Support relationship-based care while upholding organizational mission and core values
### What we're looking for
- Active CMA, CMAC, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, or NRCMA certification (one required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of related clinical work experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in vital signs, body substance isolation, and specimen collection
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

- Pay range: $16.42–$26.27/hour ($34,154–$54,642 annualized)
