About this role

AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a Director of Perioperative Services to lead surgical services operations at its hospital campus in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Oversee daily perioperative operations including OR, PACU, and pre/post-op areas, managing staff performance and unit efficiency - Prepare, monitor, and manage both operational and capital budgets using sound financial decision-making - Partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, peers, and administration to drive interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care - Recruit, hire, coach, and develop perioperative nursing staff, closing skill and knowledge gaps across the unit - Establish and sustain a service excellence culture to achieve high patient and physician satisfaction - Analyze department metrics, develop improvement plans, and hold the team accountable to measurable quality outcomes ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master's degree preferred - Minimum 1 year of healthcare leadership experience (3+ years preferred) - Demonstrated success improving departmental performance metrics - Proven ability to build strong relationships with surgical and anesthesia physician partners - CNOR, CPAN, CAPA, TNCC, or CRNFA certification (preferred) ### What's included - Salary range: $120,754 – $224,614 per year - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - Four weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Whole-person well-being and mental health resources ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is part of the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit network operating across multiple states.
