A Clinical Research Coordinator I (RN) role at AdventHealth supporting clinical trials and research studies at the Ginsburg Tower campus in Orlando, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Execute and coordinate the informed consent process, ensuring participants fully understand study purpose, procedures, risks, and benefits before signing
- Screen potential participants for clinical trial eligibility and conduct patient eligibility assessments
- Collect and manage biospecimens while maintaining HIPAA-protected databases linking patient information to research samples
- Serve as the primary clinical point of contact for participants, investigators, research staff, hospital departments, and external partners
- Perform clinical tasks including phlebotomy, IV insertion, physical assessment, and administration of investigational drugs per AdventHealth policy
- Coordinate ongoing care and follow-up for study participants throughout the duration of each trial
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification — required
- Competency in phlebotomy, IV insertion, physical assessment, and clinical procedures within RN scope of practice
- Working knowledge of HIPAA data protection and research ethics
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) credential — preferred; bilingual English/Spanish also preferred
