About this role

AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse for its inpatient critical care unit in Zephyrhills, Florida. ### What you'll do - Deliver patient-centered nursing care in a cardiovascular ICU setting, applying critical care standards to achieve measurable health outcomes. - Perform hemodynamic monitoring, EKG rhythm recognition, and moderate sedation in accordance with unit protocols. - Administer and safely store medications, including critical care pharmacology, per departmental policy. - Maintain continuity of care through accurate documentation and handoff communication using Cerner EMR. - Participate in multidisciplinary team collaboration to drive quality outcomes and resolve patient care challenges. - Assist in orienting new staff and support efficient patient flow through the unit. ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications. - Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred. - Demonstrated proficiency in critical thinking, clinical assessment, and cardiovascular/neurological anatomy. - Competency in moderate sedation and independent clinical judgment in high-acuity situations. - 2+ years of acute care experience preferred; Cerner EMR experience a plus. ### What's included - Hourly pay range: $32.76–$57.47 (approximately $68,141–$119,538 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One. - Paid time off from Day One. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Mental health resources, whole-person well-being programs, and pet benefits. ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is a faith-based, community hospital located at 7050 Gall Blvd, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, part of the AdventHealth system.
