About this role

AdventHealth Zephyrhills is hiring a full-time RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Cardiovascular on day shift at their Zephyrhills, Florida campus. ### What you'll do - Deliver patient-centered cardiovascular nursing care, performing ongoing assessment and reassessment aligned with Standards of Practice - Administer and safely store medications, including critical care and moderate-sedation agents, per departmental policy - Monitor hemodynamic parameters and perform EKG rhythm interpretation to identify and respond to changes in patient status - Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of all procedures and patient care activities in Cerner EMR - Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to drive quality outcomes and ensure continuity of care across shifts - Support onboarding of new staff and contribute to departmental patient-flow improvement initiatives ### What we're looking for - Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license - Current BLS and ACLS certifications - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred - Proficient clinical critical-thinking skills with demonstrated knowledge of cardiac, circulatory, and neuro anatomy - Competency in moderate sedation and EKG interpretation - 2+ years of acute care experience preferred ### What's included - Pay range: $32.76–$57.47/hr ($68,141–$119,538 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance from Day One - Paid Time Off from Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks 100% paid parental leave - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support ### About the practice AdventHealth Zephyrhills is a faith-mission community hospital serving Pasco County, Florida, as part of the broader AdventHealth system.
