About this role
AdventHealth Avista is hiring a full-time Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the night shift at its hospital in Louisville, Colorado.
### What you'll do
- Select appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set, ensuring proper wrapping for aseptic technique.
- Verify that sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages before release.
- Operate complex sterilization equipment, applying the correct sterilization method per manufacturer instructions.
- Review and sign all sterilizer recording charts to confirm proper sterilization parameters prior to releasing items for clinical use.
- Monitor sterilizer printouts, maintain records, and document all requirements in log books and computer systems.
### What we're looking for
- Active CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Tech) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) — required.
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; technical/vocational training in healthcare sterile processing preferred.
- 1+ year of related sterile processing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively in English.
- BLS/CPR certification preferred.

- Pay range: $19.58–$31.32/hour ($40,726–$65,146 annualized).
