### What you'll do
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for x-rays of specific body parts as ordered by the physician
- Set up and operate radiographic equipment, selecting proper ionizing factors and adjusting radiographic controls
- Process film and review images for clarity, retaking as needed to ensure diagnostic quality
- Maintain x-ray film files, patient records, daily logbooks, and monthly reports
- Perform quantity and quality control checks to verify equipment meets state regulatory standards
- Stock radiology and medical supplies, rotate film stock, and keep the x-ray and darkroom areas clean and orderly
### What we're looking for
- Valid Basic X-Ray Machine Operator (BMO) license — required
- Current BLS/CPR certification — required
- High school diploma or equivalent — required; Associate's degree in radiological technology from an accredited program — preferred
- At least 1 year of basic x-ray operator experience — preferred
- Ability to float to other FHMG practices as patient volume requires
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
