About this role

AdventHealth Celebration is hiring a PRN Clinical Chaplain for night and weekend coverage at its hospital in Celebration, Florida. ### What you'll do - Assess and respond to the spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff as part of an interdisciplinary care team. - Conduct regular patient and family rounds, checking in with clinical staff in assigned units and responding to code blues and emergencies. - Support patients and loved ones in navigating major health decisions involving moral, medical, and ethical dimensions. - Document and chart all pastoral care activities in accordance with hospital, state, and federal compliance standards. - Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and contribute to holistic, comprehensive care plans. - Mentor chaplain interns and residents as assigned. ### What we're looking for - Bachelor's degree in spiritual care, arts, or equivalent from an accredited college, university, or institutional faith body — required. - Completion of deacon training and ordination (or equivalent vocational credential) — required. - Valid driver's license — required. - Board Certified Chaplain (BCC) — preferred. - Minimum 1 year of pastoral ministry experience — preferred. - Demonstrated ability to provide culturally and religiously sensitive spiritual care to diverse patient and staff populations. ### What's included - Pay range: $26.29–$48.91 per hour ($54,683–$101,733 annualized equivalent). - PRN / per-diem scheduling flexibility on nights and weekends. ### About the practice AdventHealth Celebration is a full-service hospital within the AdventHealth system, a faith-based not-for-profit health network operating across multiple states.
