AdventHealth Lake Wales is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager for its PCU Medical unit in Lake Wales, Florida.
### What you'll do
- Perform venous access procedures and administer infusion therapy treatments within RN licensure scope, adjusting care plans based on patient responses.
- Assess patients to determine appropriate venous access methods and manage complications as they arise.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy.
- Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to maintain clinical standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by analyzing unit data and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Mentor and precept new staff through hands-on training, feedback, and structured professional development programs.
### What we're looking for
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida (required).
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- BLS/CPR certification (required).
- 1+ year of charge nurse or relevant nursing leadership experience (preferred).
- 1+ year of nursing experience in an acute care setting (preferred).
### What's included
- Hourly pay range: $32.79–$60.99 (annualized approximately $68,203–$126,859).
- $10,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates.
