Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist

AdventHealth Port Charlotte is hiring a full-time Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures at its hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. ### What you'll do - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures, including coronary, electrophysiology, peripheral, and interventional radiology interventions - Set up, maintain, and sterilize equipment and supplies for cardiovascular lab procedures - Monitor patient hemodynamics, ECG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry throughout procedures using clinical equipment - Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations - Maintain accurate procedural and clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards - Respond to scheduled emergency calls and perform appropriately in clinical emergencies ### What we're looking for - Associate degree in Science required; Bachelor's degree preferred - One of the following credentials required: RN, RT(R)(ARRT), RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVIT, Licensed Paramedic, or CST - BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS preferred - Knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and ECG/arrhythmia interpretation - Ability to perform specialized imaging procedures including angio, complex vascular, and nonvascular interventional procedures - 1+ year of relevant experience preferred ### What's included - Compensation: $28.68–$53.35/hour ($59,654–$110,968 annualized) - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective Day One - Paid time off beginning Day One - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - Mental health resources, well-being support, and pet benefits ### About the practice AdventHealth Port Charlotte is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, nonprofit health system operating across the United States.
