About this role

AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is hiring a full-time RN for its Critical Care Pre-Admission Testing unit in Wesley Chapel, Florida. ### What you'll do - Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on findings and medical diagnoses. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans to achieve optimal outcomes. - Respond promptly to life-threatening situations using established critical care protocols. - Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies. - Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record. - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care. ### What we're looking for - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (required). - Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Current BLS/CPR certification required. - Critical care clinical skills as defined by unit standards, including EKG knowledge. - Proficiency in electronic medical records; Cerner or EPIC experience preferred. - Preferred certifications include FCCS, BEKG, CCNS, CEN, or TNCC. ### What's included - Pay range: $31.53–$52.24/hour ($65,582–$108,659 annualized). - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one. - Paid time off from day one. - 403(b) retirement plan. - Four weeks of fully paid parental leave. - Career development resources and whole-person well-being support. ### About the practice AdventHealth Wesley Chapel is part of AdventHealth, a faith-based, not-for-profit health system with a mission rooted in whole-person care.
