About this role

A full-time night-shift Clinical Pharmacist role at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, Illinois, supporting inpatient pharmacy operations across a faith-based community hospital. ### What you'll do - Perform compounding, dispensing, verification, and documentation of medications across central, satellite, and IV pharmacy areas - Review medication orders and patient profiles to prevent, identify, and resolve drug-related problems; conduct pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring - Provide direct patient care and participate in interdisciplinary rounds, managing transitions of care from admission through discharge - Complete clinical consults in glycemic management, anticoagulation, and pharmacokinetics - Supervise, precept, and evaluate pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and residents - Support quality improvement, medication safety reporting, and regulatory compliance initiatives ### What we're looking for - Active Pharmacist (RPh) license in Illinois — required - Bachelor of Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred - 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred - PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred - ASHP Board Certification preferred - Proficiency with EHR systems, pharmacy informatics, and medication automation ### What's included - Salary range: $113,604–$211,315 annually - Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance effective day one - Paid time off from day one - 403(b) retirement plan - 4 weeks of 100% paid parental leave - CME/career development support and whole-person well-being resources ### About the practice UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook is a community hospital in the southwestern Chicago suburbs operating under the AdventHealth system's faith-based, whole-person care model. This position follows a 7-on/7-off night schedule (7 pm–7 am), offering concentrated work blocks and extended recovery time.
